Blairsville.com Have you seen "Country Calder", the new kinetic sculpture created by Al Garnto that is is now located in Meeks Park? It is the first kinetic sculpture in the Appalachian Sculpture Project that Al is doing throughout the Appalachian Mountains. Today's beautiful Fall day was the perfect accompaniment for the sculpture a...nd we took some pictures and video to show it to you.

This Saturday evening (8/29/09) Bill's Roller Rink is hosting a Skate for Kristi Cornwell fundraiser from 4-9 PM. There will be Skating, Live Music, Local Talent, Silent Auction , Homemade Cakes, and much, much more!
