Blind Dog Rescue DID YOU KNOW...... we adopt out of state. Since we're in Louisiana, where many people don't care very much about dogs, we adopt a lot of dogs out to the Northeast, and around the country. Some of our "graduates" live in Pennsylvania, Canada, and New Jersey. Nobody wants Beowulf, Gawain, or Sunshine here in Louisiana......, so if you're interested but you think you're too far, email us at GEBDR@yahoo.com
Blind Dog Rescue Beowulf came to our rescue from St. Martinville, LA animal control. Someone dropped off 12 catahoula pups, only 4 weeks old. We came and got Beowulf, his brother Gawain, and his sister Grendel. Beowulf is blind and deaf, Gawain is blind, and Grendel is not blind or deaf, just the runt. She has been adopted. Beowulf and Gawain are looking for homes!

Blind Dog Rescue couldn't find Beowulf. Can't call for him of course because he is deaf. Was starting to freak out and then.......
Blind Dog Rescue just had a realization. I think Sunshine looks more like a Border Collie then an Australian Shepherd. Anyone have thoughts on this? Here's a link to her photo album...
Sunshine the Australian Shepherd was found wandering down the road in Satsuma, LA. It was pouring down rain and she was starving. The nice people who found her discovered she was blind, then looked me up, and after a few weeks she came to live with us. Sunshine is looking for a loving family to call her own!

Blind Dog Rescue Booker T has gone to his new home. I really really hope this family keeps him longer than a few months. They seem like very nice people. YAY!
Blind Dog Rescue Booker T gets "fixed" today, he'll be going to his new home (for the third time) this Saturday! Hooray!
