Just read your new book, nice one! I used The Wiener Dog Magnet and The Brave Monkey Pirate to teach my ADULT ESL students (Ship inspectors, Engineers, etc) here in Korea. They were surprised to come across words and expressions they didn't understand in such a "simple" book. I then asked them some comprehension questions which allowed them to focus on speaking rather than deciphering a difficult text. Finally, we had a discussions around topics on each page like "Did you receive an ALLOWANCE as a child? How did you earn it? What did you use it for? etc."
I'm excited to give Invisible Alligators a try. It has quite a bit more text than your previous stories which will be slightly more challenging for them.
Just wanted to share how I was using your books and how much I personally enjoy them. I love both your artistic and writing style, very witty and fun. I'll try and buy the real book soon :D
