Ava Mattaliano

Ava Mattaliano I'm a freshman this year at Hawaii hoping to eventualy pursue a career in marine science. Would any of you recommend I start out with primarily a Biology major throughout the next four years, and then work for a masters/PhD Marine Science, or just dive into a Marine Science major now? The school I'm at has an excellent marine science program already.

Timothy Hummel

Timothy Hummel For those looking to becoming a marine biologist. I highly recommend you recieve your bachelor's in general biology then continuing on for your masters and/or PhD in marine biology. Many schools want you to have a very strong background in biology before pursuing marine biology.
