I just made the roasted sweet potatoes, potatoes, and sage from the At the Market section. It calls for 1 Tbsp of kosher salt. I love salt, but it turned out to be WAY too much in this recipe. The flavor combination is great, but next time I will put less than half the salt in. Makes me wonder whether anyone is really testing all of these recipes.

Central Market and the Flagship Whole Foods here in Austin offer great selections with an emphasis on local foods in both the stores and their cafes. Add live music several times a week ,a nice beer and wine selection, great patios to enjoy the Texas weather and cooking classes and you can see why both are favorites.

I made squash and turnip pie--it was kinda like sweet potato pie, but better. You have to add lots of sugar to make it taste just right. The way Goldilocks would have liked it.

I've been cooking my birds per this original article for years now - It's fantastic!!! The very first year I did a 25lb. bird and had 12 people - there were absolutely _no_ leftovers! Had to cook a _second_ bird on Sunday just so that we could have leftover turkey meat!
