John Krasinski, best known for playing the charming everyman, Jim Halpert, on The Office, will be in Austin this Friday and Saturday! On Friday, November 13th at 7PM he will debut his new film Brief Interviews with Hideous Men, based on the book written by David Foster Wallace. The Austin Premiere at the Alamo Ritz wi...ll feature a special appearance and Q & A with Krasinski following the film. On Saturday, November 14th at noon, make your way to BookPeople for a meet and greet with Krasinski as he signs Brief Interviews with Hideous Men postcards. Krasinski may seem an unlikely candidate to adapt and direct the late David Foster Wallace's caustic exploration of the nature of men. However, he proves himself up to the challenge and delivers a provocative and darkly comedic film.
