The national recycling rate for PET plastic bottled water containers now stands at 30.9% for 2008,a year-over-year improvement of 32% over 2007 rates.

Bottled Water Great research report from NAPCOR shows that 419.09 MM lbs of PET plastic were recovered for recycling, resulting in a gross water bottle recycling rate of 30.9%. This represents an increase of 32% over the 2007 recycling rate of 23.4%. RECYCLING PLASTIC WATERS IS WAY UP!
