One of the many things I love about the stationery world, is the opportunity I've had to meet incredible fellow designers. Enter Cathe from Feterie, master of pattern and typography and all around cool girl. One thing I love about the broader indie design and handmade community are the collaborat...

Rose Cardarelli Pierno Hey Erin! This is a picture of the escort card tree. I have better ones somewhere that aren't sepia toned, but I'll have to get that to you later. Or I can wait for a professional photo to come in for your website. Hope all is well! Check out my wedding pics on my profile!

Bride Design The popularity of "candy buffets" at weddings and events have brought the opportunity to design a lot more stickers here at Bride Design! These custom-illustrated stickers were created to seal the candy bags (and take-away cupcake boxes for some She Takes The Cake goodies!) for an upcoming soccer-themed bat mitzvah celebration.

Kathy Joslyn

Kathy Joslyn Erin - These invitations are breathtaking! I love the use of peacock feathers – my best friend’s father in high school was a “bird man” and had the most incredible birds - he had about 6 peacocks, but the most spectacular were the white peacocks – if you ever get the chance take a look at those feathers (all white –same shape and whispy-ness, but visually “weightless”).

Thanks for the kind words Kathy!!! I have seen the white feathers...so pretty. Hmmm...makes me think I should call my "feather guy" and see if he's got any small white ones. Now I've got design ideas flying around, so thanks for the inspiration! I'm also a fan of ostrich feathers too!

Loved creating an original watercolor illustration for this invite and for the delightful couple who was using cymbidium orchids throughout their wedding. I also loved the bride's unique color choice for a Fall wedding. So unexpected! We actually did two versions of this invite. Those invited to the rehearsal dinner or... traveling a long distance to come to the wedding got a pocket fold version. What you see here is the version sent to the majority of the guests, which features a sash and emblem with the couple's names and wedding date.Read More

I think Leah probably thinks she'd get to make the invites too! She fancies herself quite the stationer, which I have to admit she kind of is for her youthfulness!

These days, I'm deeply inspired by my garden and all the delightful things I've managed (surprisingly!) to grow along with my co-gardeners. Those would be my preschool-aged daughters, who love to water (or over-water!) our crops and who get ridiculously excited about harvesting. You should have s...

I should show you my dress sometime. I had it made by a friend of my mom's. I searched forever for the lace and it was a non-wedding dress pattern. Then I had the bodice beaded to match a clutch I found in the French Quarter with John's mom 4 mos. before she passed away. We married just outside of NO and were there starting the wedding plans. ... Read MoreThe Antebellum theme took off from there. Carrying it during our ceremony made it feel like she was still a part of our special day. I still have a fair amount of the lovely lace left over...

I would love to see your dress Laura! And your story is exactly what I'm talking about. I love it when people approach their wedding (or any endeavor!) with meaning, care, and interesting personal details. So sweet.

I've lived in a lot of places that are packed with creativity: Manhattan...Chicago...Providence, RI. Each one has a vibrant art and indie craft life of its own, brimming with coolness. When I first moved to Syracuse, NY I wondered if I'd find that same type of creative scene. At first, I thought ...
