Kent Wishne

Kent Wishne This place has the most impressive collection of looted artefacts I have ever seen. It's great to see all the souveniers England collected during their conquest of the Earth.

After the poorly organised Day of the Dead the British Museum does it again for incompetence and arrogance. When I pointed out that the Day of the Dead Mask competition had 2nd November as a closing date but in the rules it said that children could submit entries until 6th November the reply was oh well an error that w...e will correct on 4th Nov. This is not fair to the children who have already entered and have told their friends and family that they an't vote after 2nd. At this stage the only honest thing to do is award everyone first prize and invest in proof reading next time.Read More

Henrietta Foster When does the Day of the Dead mask competition for children close - was it the 2nd November as it says on the terms and conditions? If so why can you enter masks up to 6th November? Concerned aunt.

Jonathan Jones: The British Museum's Day of the Dead celebrations did more than offer a joyous take on Mexico's annual spectacle. It revived its own standing on the cultural landscape, too

Raquel

Raquel There was a loooot of people, which made me think, wowow, they like my Mexico, at the end of the carnival, I saw this woman almost in tears, and I asked "DId you like it? she said yes, but I had a tear in my eye too.

Johann Unterkofler

Johann Unterkofler Great experience today at the Museum - however I had to say something: Tacos are not made with either lettuce or yellow cheese! Besides that, it was really amazing, so close to what we have on Mexico - even the sugar skulls (calaveritas) were the real thing!
