Lee will present “Galapagos, a Place of Science and Surprise” next Thursday, January 7th from noon – 1:15pm in the Central Library Ring of Knowledge. This free lunchtime talk is a “travelogue” on the Galapagos Islands, the source of Darwin’s inspiration for Origin of Species. Dr. Lee is a professor at th...e UB Med School and traveled to the Galapagos Islands earlier this year. Much of the material currently on display in the Rare Book Room was donated to UB from his personal collection.
