Burgerville Ever heard of "barter for a starter?" While we may not offer you drinks in exchange for food from your garden, we are mentioned in this article as being "a great model of how a food chain can still be a big supporter of locally grown." Check it out!

There's obviously something wrong with a food system when farmers don't make a living yet huge industrial farm corporations do, producing lower-quality foods, and getting billions in subsidies to produce corn and soybeans. We don't need more tofu and high fructose corn syrup.

Burgerville With only two weeks left to savor our Pumpkin Milkshakes, we recommend making a trip to Pioneer Courthouse Square today and getting one! The Burgerville Nomad is there from 11 a.m to 6 p.m.

Stuff the Bus is a food and toy drive sponsored by the Camas-Washougal Business Alliance. It is a competition between the rival high schools to see who can gather the most pounds of food and toys (non-perishable food and unopened toys). On December 4th, the students will be filling school buses that will be weighed in ...at the end of the day to determine the winner. We ask that people bring donations to one of our participating locations or on the day of the event within the times the buses are being filled. Z100, Jammin 107.5 and the Burgerville Nomad will be at the high schools at varying times during the day and everyone is really excited about raising food and toys to benefit the following programs:
C.A.R.O.L. Program - Camas and Washougal Fire Departments prepare baskets of food and toys to families in need in the Camas Washougal Area.
East County Resource Center - Canned food and toys will be delivered to help families through the holidays and all year long.
The Treasure House - Canned food and toys will be delivered to help families through the holidays and all year long.
We will also accept donations at our Camas location at 518 NE Third Ave., Camas, WA 98607 beginning Friday, November 20. Thank you for anything you can provide!
