Burke Museum The Lower Elwha Kllalam tribe has completed artifact recovery at the Tse-whit-zen village site in Port Angeles. Next step...build a museum to house and display the nearly 65,000 artifacts (many of which are currently housed here at the Burke).

Burke Museum Artist Ray Troll is in studio this week, painting large murals for the upcoming Burke exhibit "Cruisin' the Fossil Freeway," opening on December 19. Ray is a lot of fun - very creative and friendly with great talent for infusing his love of paleontology into his colorful artwork.
