On 14th July The Co-operative will present the nationwide Saffron Premiere of Burma VJ.
Cinemas all across the country, including one near you, will be satellite-linked LIVE to BAFTA in London, creating a nationwide “Saffron Premiere”. On the night, everyone will be encouraged to wear something saffron (or at least orange!) to symbolise their support for the monks, journalists and general public who took part in the 2007 Saffron Revolution in Burma.
