if not one thing it is another, feeling poopy is one thing but constantly having to explain why or people not understanding is another.

Sometimes the comments and the "You dont look sick its all in your head gets old, but I think if you have a good support system, a great family, great friends, doctors who care and most of all faith, you can get through it.

i have been on cymbalta for quite a few yrs. for fibro n for rsd. it has helped greatly for the pain, dealing with the side effects. the thing that bothers me about handicap parking is when i go to pick up my daughters at school, u have 2 or 3 parents parked in the handicapped spots cause they are close and they don't have to get out of their cars... See More. i get really ticked off n park right behind them or pointed right towards them....sometimes they move but mostly they just sit there and ignore me!! also, at the high school parking lot, the handicap parking is so far away, yes there are 10 parking spots, but they need to realize that its not ONLY wheel chaired people that park there.....people that have a hard time walking park there!!! thanks :)

Yes, I've also noticed that the doctors in my town don't seem to know much about Sjogren's. It's scary. Thanks for walking for us.

I've heard Lupus is like a big umbrella and everything auto-immune is under it-- somedays my Lupus manifests as Sjogren's, sometimes-but almost always Fibromyalgia etc.

I have both Lupus and Sjogrens as well. I was recently in the hospital and diagnosed with renal tubular acidocis which apparently was caused by either the sjogrens or lupus. The doctors don't really know. It is frustrating that different doctors tell you different things because nobody knows enough about it.
