CADE Winery Yesterday Robert Parker's Annual Napa Valley issue in the Wine Advocate came out and we are ecstatic on the 95+ points our innaugural CADE Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain 2007 recieved. Reminiscent of the very first PlumpJack Reserve Cab which also recieved 95 points..... The rest of our scores to follow.

There are two great feelings during harvest 1) the day you start and 2) the day the last load of grapes finds its way into the auger. In 2009 that day was October 25th. Harvest is now completed at PlumpJack Winery and as of this writing we have two tanks still macerating. ...

I arrived at Napa Valley’s newest environmentally friendly winery in a two-ton SUV and parked in a space reserved for low-emission vehicles. The area was shrouded in fog, so hopefully nobody noticed.

Bazaar is the new LA venture of Jose Andres’ of El Bulli in Barcelona fame- one of the most famous restaurants in the world with a wait list of over 16 months. We were recently visited by some of Lucas’s fellow Somms and he now carries the CADE SB by the g...lass as well as our CADE Howell Mountain Cab and PlumpJack Merlot. We are ecstatic!
