When He softens that heart of stone that is deceitfully wicked and has hardened by the deceifulness of sin and given us hearts of flesh with His Laws written upon them--then we are transformed and real life begins. We should pray for revival but never forget that it begins with the household of God one heart at a time. Nothing is impossible for Him. We have not because we either do not ask or we ask with selfish motives. May God give us His mercy and grace as we seek Him.

Father, let us all join in the same spirit this Sunday -- let us humble ourselves and repent, individually and corporately. Father, we ask that you would create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit in us! Father, give us boldness to proclaim your truth and let your name be glorified in your people. Show us the errors of our ways and let us fall on our faces before you in a true spirit of repentance. Not for the consecquences that we face, but for the dishonor we have brought to Your name. If we each dig in the Word ourselves, and seeking his face during each day then our time together as body in church will be awesome. We'd be prepared to give to the Lord instead of just coming to take - Wow! God has been stiring my desire to seek and know Him more. I pray that stirring continues across the US. It's many individuals coming together that will really fan the flames. Let's go for it!

If the heart is desperately wicked, then it seems to me that our wrong moral choices are a by-product of that desperately wicked heart.

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Jesus was the only one without sin because he was GOD!
