Cynthia Harris I didn't talk to him myself, but a friend of a friend of a friend said she talked to JC and he said "If you're planning to attend just one concert this season to celebrate my birthday, Songs of the Mother and Child is my top choice."

Cantabile Singers Why are the Cantabile Singers donating some of the proceeds of our upcoming concert to EFAA? Check out these EFAA facts:

• The Basic Needs Program conducted 8,789 face-to-face interviews, with 3,278 separate families helping with rent, utility bills, food and other basic needs in Boulder and Broomfield Counties.
• $499,0...86 in direct financial assistance was provided for rent to prevent homelessness, utility bills to prevent shut offs, minor medical needs, and transportation.
• Over 350,702 pounds of food worth $592,686 were distributed out of the Boulder Food Bank to 1,912 unduplicated households.
• 72% of households served were headed by females; 68% were Caucasian; $9,120 was the average annual income; 57% had either full or part time jobs.
• EFAA provided emergency shelter or transitional housing to 154 unduplicated households, representing 517 individuals; 86% of families successfully exited the program and found affordable permanent housing. These services were provided through 43 units of housing (apartments) EFAA manages. Lafayette: 4 emergency; 7 transitional; Longmont: 10 emergency, 1 transitional; Boulder: 7 emergency, 14 transitional units.
• To minimize the destructive effects of homelessness on children, specialized casework services were available to 283 children residing at the shelters in Lafayette, Longmont and Boulder. Volunteers made a major contribution to the success of Children’s Services programming.
• Provided furniture for 159 families. The value of furniture distributed to families or placed in EFAA shelters was $20,730.
• 620 volunteers contributed 13,705 hours, a level equivalent to 6.59 full-time employees.
• The Holiday Food Basket program brought together several organizations, EFAA staff and volunteers to provide a week’s worth of food and all the ingredients for a holiday dinner for over 900 Boulder families
• Approximately 86% of every dollar donated goes to direct services because EFAA very efficiently relies on volunteers and in-kind donations.

Come listen to some beautiful music on December 11th or December 19th and be part of the excellent work EFAA is doing.
