Canvas Dreams, LLC Day 4 move-in summary: More furniture put together/arranged. The office door is painted, and it rocks. Desks are set up, the entryway looks a bit more welcoming, and we're ready to roll. Stay tuned for an announcement on our official grand opening!
Canvas Dreams, LLC Day 3 move-in summary: What we couldn't find on Craigslist (used), we ended up obtaining from Ikea. We have some mixed feelings about it, despite Ikea's social conscience and sustainability program: a "big box" store is still a big box store, no matter what measures you take. In the end though, more than 60% of the fur...niture and equipment in our new office was repurposed from other sources.
Canvas Dreams, LLC We want to thank Alco Properties, the property management company, for their staff's excellence: Painting our office door, taking care of several fix-ups, and putting in a bunch of new electric drops. We've always loved the support they provide, and right now it feels like we're family. So thank you! You have made this... move-in a really special event for our growing company.
Canvas Dreams, LLC Tomorrow we finalize our plans for the newest service line - business optimization paired with SEO. Launching along with the new office, it will greatly round out and unify many of our related services into a cohesive curriculum centered around sustainable business education.
Canvas Dreams, LLC Office rooms are all connected with broadband and wi-fi. Did our own LAN wiring by laying Cat5 above the false ceiling. Now taking in the daylit view of downtown Portland: trees, buildings, and a park across the street. No overhead lighting used today.
