Danielle Delofsky I just finished watching the CD and had perused the book earlier as soon as it arrived. All in all I enjoyed it, and I know that not all of the submissions could make it into the book or on the CD, but as a disabled individual I was saddened to see that none of the pictures of disabled people were featured in the book... and only a handful were included on the CD. If you want an accurate portrayal of a city I believe that everybody should be included regardless of 'stigmas'. *steps off soapbox*

I want to thank everybody for participating in Capture My Chicago. I have truly enjoyed your photos and meeting many of you. Thanks to you, the book looks awesome!

Please know that your feedback will be part of our conversations as we prepare to do this again next year. In fact, those conversations have already start...ed. Of course, that doesn't mean that we will be able to address everything. But I want to acknowledge that we are listening.

Ok I am very happy to have had one of my photos chosen for the book. I also knew what I was getting into when I entered the contest so I'm not complaining about anything after the fact. I knew that unless I was a prize winner I would receive no compensation for my photo being used. I am happy it has been published and that another one of my photos ... See Morewas on the news. However, if you are taking feedback for next year's contest, I would like to share my opinion. I think that you should give a complimentary copy of the book to any photographer whose photos you choose for the book. I think it's only fair. Thanks for listening.

I agree with Gary. None of my guaranteed pics made the DVD, but one of my least vote getting pics did... And I had to sit through a lot of non spell checked titles on pics before I got to mine! Haha
