Matt Prestegaard I opened the drawer of a corner 'coffee' table at a Caribou and found a 'secret' notebook stashed therein. It was a public diary for anyone who opened that drawer. I wonder if it is still there...

next time your in try the new hot cinnamon spice tea, anyone who likes cinnamon will enjoy it, garunteed! another great drink thats a little different is a regular hot cider with a shot of chai, its really good and mildly spicy.
also, a dark hot chocolate is very good, i would try it if I were you
but as far as espresso... drinks, i would go with the white or milk myself because they seem to complement the espresso the best.
one other thing, this is a new, higher grade chocolate that is much richer. you have the option to mix the different kinds together, or get less. next time you get a hot mocha watch the barista melt the chocolate right in with the milk! I think that if you are a regular, its just a change, but if you try different things you will be pleasantly surprised!
and by the way, I am a caribou barista!

Sarah I guess this is a good example of why the health is so bad in America - people just don't care how bad the stuff that they are eating or drinking is! Well, someday when you have a quadruple bypass you will!

I guess it shouldn't surprise me that there are so many Americans that don't check the nutrition facts for things. I don't check them for everything, because in general, you know what's healthy on a menu and what's not, based on the ingredients. And it is definitely okay to splurge once in a while (as a devoted baker a...nd lover of desserts, I know this!). But I knew all of the calories for my favorite drinks at Caribou...and people, the change is NOT little...it's drastic. The caloric increase is bad enough (example 380 to 580 = 200 more calories), but the fat is what is really bad (example, 4 to 25 = 19 more grams)...and that is one of the BEST things you can get because it is skim, no whip...imagine what the 2%, whip ones you are getting have (example, 710 calories, 49 g fat). You are only supposed to have 65 in one day on a 2000 cal diet.Read More
