It turns out that the ball of fire screaming out of the sky was a meteorite from the Leonid Meteor Shower, according to the FAA. So, uh, sleep tight Sacramento: It's only a flaming piece of space rock.

Ron Webb If Addidas cancels a contract with a school (UCF) because a student wishes to recognize his iconic father, I would say Addidas is very stupid. Nike can sweep in and snag cheap publicity by offering an even larger contract with the school.

Maybe they should look at their past efforts to see where they've fallen short of performing at an acceptable level. Obviously they have mismanaged what was entrusted to them and now they are grasping at "thin air" to cover the losses they've suffered through their own means.
