Charles D. Boggus Interesting reading of Assembly Bill AB 713 by Assemblyman Ted Gaines - he was attempting to enact a bill that would require the State to bill the Federal Government for the costs of incarcerating illegal immigrants ($970 Million Dollars a Year) of which the Federal Government currently re-imburses our State ONLY $118 Million a Year

Pallas Hupé I just want to say Hooray! We've passed 1,000 fans. Thanks to everyone who's signed on...and spread the word when you can!

CBS13 KOVR-TV Like to go ice skating? Then we have a story for you. We tested the air quality in several indoor rinks and made a startling find. The air at the ice rink could be more toxic than the air on an L.A. freeway! See the results of our undercover investigation - tonight at 10.

Terri If the State Legislators and the Governor can't balance a Budget then why are they there? I want an answer CBS 13??

Re: the ground squirrel report:
Not all squirrels are the same! I'm pretty sure the squirrel in the footage shown was a red squirrel - not even native to the US, let alone CA. The report appeared to be about ground squirrels which are quite different than the tree-dwelling squirrels we have in CA (grey squirrel and fox ...squirrel). They live on the ground as their name implies and can cause a lot of destruction with their burrowing. This is probably why the county is allowing them to be poisoned. My concern is that people won't be careful with the poison and other animals will be affected by it.Read More

Cindy Jensen Thank you so much for breaking the storuy about the schools, or however you did it. It has been happening actually since 1980, that's 29 years..........I am so happy and so grateful that this is finally coming to Parents attention, so they can love their children like they should be able to.

Charles D. Boggus After serving 22 years (military and fed) and now residing in California, I am curious as to the validity of the attached link, boasting that California taxpayer dollars in the amount of 10.5 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR goes to illegal immigrants. Is that helping our deficit, or hurting it?
