Charles D. Boggus

Charles D. Boggus I have a question about the headline "Victory for Pelosi" and its effect on us. What exactly will this 20 pound piece of legislation do for the public? Is it just a victory for her, or will we benefit as well?

CBS13 KOVR-TV

CBS13 KOVR-TV (ProducerRob) If you saw our 5 PM newscast Saturday, you saw us briefly talk about all the calls to authorities over a potential plane crash in Yolo County. It turns out that the ball of fire screaming out of the sky was a meteorite from the Leonid Meteor Shower, according to the FAA. So, uh, sleep tight Sacramento: It's only a flaming piece of space rock.

Authorities scrambled to find a downed aircraft after numerous witnesses called to report seeing a fireball plunge out of the sky, but the sightings may have been the result of something a bit more astronomical.

Historic Annapolis outside of DC has some beautiful locations for weddings - but if we are talking this coast I would recommend a Napa wedding

Jennifer Catrina I agree with Ron Webb. It is very petty of Adidas to cancel a contract with the school because of one player who happens to be Michael Jordan's son - I would wear Jordan shoes too if it were me.

Ron Webb If Addidas cancels a contract with a school (UCF) because a student wishes to recognize his iconic father, I would say Addidas is very stupid. Nike can sweep in and snag cheap publicity by offering an even larger contract with the school.

I just read that the shooter survived and is in no imminent danger from his wounds.
It sounds as if he was upset about having to do a tour of duty in Iraq.

All that you said is what's been reported...but there are still questions about whether there was any other motive. The alleged shooter posted on sites about suicide bombings, had received a bad job review and was reportedly giving away furniture earlier in the day. We hope to have some answers at 10pm...

On 2nd thought, I would like to know if he was a practicing Muslim with intentions on crippling our infrastructure at the Fort Hood facility? If he is and his intentions were of such, what actions are we going to take to alleviate, if not totally eliminate such an internal threat? Shall we resort to the measures taken shortly after the bombing of Pearl Harbor? Or shall we borrow a strategy from a more extreme government?

I just heard on the morning show that obese people should get the shot as they end up with complications. I am high risk already and do not need more, but would still give it up so the children could be vaccinated first.

Maybe they should look at their past efforts to see where they've fallen short of performing at an acceptable level. Obviously they have mismanaged what was entrusted to them and now they are grasping at "thin air" to cover the losses they've suffered through their own means. Sure, they can blame the economy, but how... blindly can you lead your city into the red without taking some preventive measures.Read More
