CBS5.com KPIX-TV The 49ers wrapped up the season on a high note. But the Raiders, not so much. Oakland is reportedly ready to fire coach Tom Cable:

cbs5.com
Sunday's loss to the Batimore Ravens gave the Oakland Raiders seven straight seasons with at least 11 defeats, the worst run in NFL history, and also could mark the end of coach Tom Cable's stint in Oakland. ...

Susan Aubrey Wilde

Susan Aubrey Wilde Isn't there was an entertainment venue close to the piers that has marine animals in it...can't some of their people help...where the heck is the harbor patrol...surely someone can do something before morning...the Marine Mammal Center obviously has to work with volunteers, but surely there is "someone" PETA or someon...e nearby can drum up! This is horrible! With all of the seal that regularly visit, it seems that some provision should be in place. I can't believe how callous the Marine Mammal representative was.

Do an ongoing seemt on issues that is facing our region and the people who live here. Ideas could come from people. Asking questions from local/state/federal goverment and businesses (large and small). My idea is what our goverment is doing to tap into the volunteers that are available due to economy. This would be a bigger issue this year when their budgets will be cut even further.
