The Buffalo Municipal Housing Authority has decided to fix the roof at the Catholic Charities neighborhood center and food pantry, where many services have been halted because of the condition of the three-story building. Work on the roof should begin next week, officials said.

The Closing the Gap Site Facilitator Team serves Buffalo Public School students whose academic achievements are affected by challenges, such as poverty, gang violence, and abuse. The facilitators provide tutoring and counseling for students and 81% of participants increased their GPA last year.
