Sean

Sean For the summer classes CCS offers, are all the classes available or is it a smaller selection to choose from? Because commuting for an 8:30 am class isn't the best, just saying.

Hi Sean, a smaller number of offerings are available in Summer. The Summer schedule hasn't been put together yet but we'll keep morning hours in mind when it's being constructed. Thanks!

Cara Stasick

Cara Stasick Hey there, I'm an illustration student at Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids and have been reconsidering CCS lately. Before I went to Kendall I was accepted to CCS but ended up not going. Thinking about transferring now but would like to know more about the Illustration program from an actual Illustration student- anyone that would be willing to talk to me about it? Thanks!

Sondra Musa

We're planning our 2010 podcast program and would like to record interviews with students, alumni, and faculty who have stories to sha...re about their CCS EA experiences. Please visit our website, listen to a couple podcasts and contact me if your interested in sharing your experience with us.Read More

Laiyla Chahine I heard its hard to get into the school straight from high school, is that true ?

Hi Laiyla. That is not true if you follow and meet our admissions requirements. They include: a minimum cumulative GPA requirement coming from high school of a 2.5 or higher, an ACT or SAT score (no minimum) and a portfolio of art and design work. Portfolio requirements vary by major and can be found at: http://www.insideccs.com/#/... Read Morehttp://www.insideccs.com/#/before_getting_in/apply/
We are looking for academic and artistic ability. If you're concerned about your portfolio, we'd be happy to give you an informal review anytime.

Logan C Johnson When are your applications due

Lori Watson
Lori Watson
CCS has a rolling admissions policy which means we will continue to accept applications within a month or so of the beginning of a semester. If a major has filled up, we will start a wait list. I do not, however, encourage you to wait this long. It is better to fill out an application now (free online - click on the Apply Now button on this page... Read More) and submit transcripts and portfolios as they are completed. We will follow up with you regularly once we have a file on you to remind you of what is needed to complete your admissions decision.

We accept either the ACT or SAT exam. If you take them both, we'll use the higher of the two for the admissions decision.
