The “Big Board” where we keep track of all the projects is looking a little disheveled, but have no fear…. John Dawe has the projects under control during CDS Creative’s CreateAthon!
We didn’t put our camels to bed because we’re still too busy plugging away at all the projects yet to complete for CDS Creative’s CreateAthon. The volunteers are still hanging in there, wide awake and continuing on their 24-hour marathon of creativity.
I happened to catch “The Boss” hanging outside taking a little break around 10pm during CreateAthon, so I thought it would be a good time to get an update on how things were going as we broke the half-way mark:
The 24 hour marketing marathon called CreateAthon has begun! The CDS Creative team and volunteers from creative agencies from around the area are holed up at the Junior Achievement building in Pittston, PA until 9am Friday morning...
Throughout the day I’ll be posting photos of the CreateAthon volunteers hard at work! These are from 10am, so have a good look at these “refreshed” individuals as I’m confident they won’t be looking like this at 9am tomorrow morning!
Special thanks to the folks from Telespond Senior Services for bringing in a TON of snacks! Donuts, chips, lollipops, candy bars, and sweets galore! When the yawning starts about 3am we’ve got enough sugar to carry us through. Again, thanks Telespond!

The round-the-clock creative and design work will begin at 8 a.m. on Thursday, September 17th at the offices of NCAC (Nonprofit & Community Assistance Center) in Pittston, PA. The final work will be presented to the non-profits on Friday, September 18th at 9 a.m. The deadline for CreateAthon 2009 applications was July 15, 2009.
