Cé was formed in spring 2004 by three multi-instumentalists: Asher Gray, Devin McCabe, and Randy Gosa. The Irish word, Cé, translates to the English word, "quay", a dock or wharf, a fitting title for a band based in Milwaukee. Cé plays traditional and contemporary Celtic music.
All of the members of Cé regularly play at traditional Irish music sessions in the Milwaukee area and are heavily involved in the local music community as both teachers and performers. Cé has been a featured guest at the world-renown Milwaukee Irish Fest every year since the formation of the band.
