CHAMPION FREE PRODUCT FRIDAYS
Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT REQUIRED. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. ELIGIBILITY: This contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) states of the United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry, are members of the website of Facebook, Inc. (“Facebook”) located at www.facebook.com (“Facebook Site”), and are fans of the Champion Facebook page. Employees and directors of Hanesbrands Inc. or its parents, subsidiaries, or affiliated companies, and immediate family members and persons who live in the same household as such employees and directors, are not eligible to participate.
2. TO ENTER: No purchase or payment is required to enter. To enter, RSVP that you are “attending” the Free Product Fridays event on the Champion Facebook page during the promotion period, beginning at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on August 6, 2009, and ending at 5:00 p.m. ET on November 20, 2009. Both becoming a fan of the Champion page and “attending” the Free Product Fridays” event are free. By becoming a fan of the Champion page, you agree to all terms and conditions applicable to the use of that page and applicable to Facebook generally.
3. PRIZES AND SELECTION OF WINNERS: Sponsor or its designee will randomly select one (1) winner from among all confirmed attendees of the Free Product Fridays event on the Champion Facebook page at or about 5:00 p.m. on each Friday during the promotion period, for a total of 15 winners. Each winner will receive a Champion t-shirt, approximate retail value $15.00. Color, style and size of t-shirt are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible attendees of the Free Product Fridays event on the Champion Facebook page as of each drawing date. Sponsor will post the name of each weekly winner on the Wall of the Champion page shortly after each drawing and the winner must post a note within three (3) days to confirm the prize, or that winner will be disqualified and another attendee selected from among remaining attendees. After a winner has posted a note confirming the prize, the winner will be sent a Facebook message with instructions on how to provide Sponsor with contact information for shipping the prize. Prizes will be shipped to winners within 2 to 4 weeks of confirmation. No cash in lieu of prize or substitution of prize is allowed, except in Sponsor’s sole discretion.
4. MISCELLANEOUS: In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an attendee, attendee will be deemed to be the individual registered user associated with the Facebook account used to become a Champion Facebook Fan. Any attempt by an attendee or anyone else to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the promotion is a violation of criminal and/or civil laws and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify attendee and seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void suspect entries, or to modify, cancel, or suspend the promotion should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt or impair the administration, security, or fairness of the promotion. In any such event, Sponsor reserves the right to select winners from among all eligible attendees of the Free Product Fridays event prior to the occurrence requiring such action. By participating, you agree that the Sponsor, Facebook, their parent, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents, will have no liability whatsoever for any liability for any injury, loss or damages of any kind to persons, including death, and property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize or participation in this promotion. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for network, hardware, software, telephone, cable or other technical failures; or for incomplete, damaged, misdirected, illegible, garbled or lost e-mail or mail communications. By becoming a Champion Facebook Fan, you agree that Sponsor, and those acting under its authority, may use your name, hometown, likeness and/or voice, and the photograph associated with your Facebook profile for advertising and promotional purposes in any media without further consideration, unless prohibited by law.
5. WINNERS’ LIST: The name, hometown, and Facebook profile photograph of the winners will be posted on the Champion Facebook page.
