The Richmond Police Department is mourning the untimely passing of one of its officers. Officer Dwight Hardwick, 28, a two-and-a-half-year veteran of the Department, assigned to Third Precinct, passed away Friday night after feeling ill at his residence. Hardwick was off-duty at the time. Please keep his family in your prayers.

CHARLES CITY, VA (WWBT) - Dive teams are searching for a 16-year-old boy who was last seen swimming in the James River near Lawrence Lewis, Jr. Park in Charles City County. We're told the teen disappeared underwater while swimming this afternoon.
