On Thursday, October 29th, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi unveiled the next version of the House health care legislation. As you recall H.R. 3200 led to opposition. Although similar to the previous legislation, H.R. 3962 contains certain provisions:
H.R. 3962 contains a government-run option.
H.R. 3962 does not requ...ire Members of Congress to join the government-run health plan.
H.R. 3962 does not adequately address medical liability reform, which could help control healthcare costs.
H.R. 3962 places a tax on businesses where they will have to surrender 8% of their payroll if they do not offer insurance to their employees or pay at least 72.5% of their employees' premiums.Read More

I'm a member of the Daytona Beach Young Professionals and I'm in a sailboat race from Daytona to Charelston Memorial Day weekend 2010.
