Ché Armstrong is an up-and-coming DJ from Newcastle upon Tyne and the owner/manager of Neuroscience Recordings.
With a lifelong passion for music, DJing was an obvious path for Ché to take. His progression from a bedroom DJ started with regular sets at after parties, playing quality upfront trance and progressive. However, Ché’s talents didn’t go unnoticed and he quickly progressed to some of Newcastle’s smaller trance nights. Ché soon gained an excellent reputation, not only for his music, but for the professionalism and enthusiasm that came with him.
Currently, Ché is both co-promoter and resident at the Neuroscience night in Newcastle. Ché is also playing regularly play at other events in and around North East, playing at nights such as Godskitchen, Gatecrasher and Digital Society. He's also recently played at the massive Escape club in Holland, as part of the Amsterdam Dance Event. This has allowed Ché to share the decks with DJs such as Markus Schulz, Kyau & Albert, Ronski Speed, Dan Stone, Martin Roth, Manuel Le Saux, Stoneface & Terminal, W&W and Marcel Woods to name but a few.
Ché currently hosts a monthly radio show broadcast on ETN.fm which has helped win him some more fans in recent times. In addition Ché has had guest mixes on local FM stations Galaxy, Metro and NSR.
Ché is definitely moving in the right direction and is a DJ to keep an eye on!
