One of my favourite acts of gratitude is choosing special cards, and writing thank you notes to people with specifics on why I appreciate them. I do this a lot for people at work; I work in a school, so it's a nice treat for the staff after a long day. I left one for my custodian one day, and the next day he said that he had been having an awful ... Read Moreday, just found out how much he had to pay in car repairs, then he got the note. He said he felt so good he immediately thought, "It's just money! It doesn't matter!" The power of our words alone is astonishingly powerful, as well as acknowledging the greatness in others. Thank you for this reminder at the beginning of a great new week! I think it's time to write some more thank you notes. Blessings! ♥

What a positive way to cope with a frustrating dilemma, Cheryl! Christmas songs have so many happy memories for me. I think of my parents and the joyful times during the holidays....

My mother passed away on November 11...She had been in an Alzheimer's Care Center for 3.5 years. What is so ironic is that her passing was exactly half way during a 19 speaker in 3 weeks Comfort for Caregivers telesummit I was having.... I remember sharing with you on one of your monthly calls a few years ago how much she enjoyed Stand Up For Your life....Mom had her 95th birthday on Nov 5.....
