The mission of the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba Inc. is to be an independent agency whose purpose is to raise and distribute funds for the advancement of knowledge and care in the fields of child health and child health research.

The Children's Hospital Book Market was established in 1961 and is the longest running fundraiser in support of the Children's Hospital Foun...dation of Manitoba.
Since its inception, the Book Market has raised about $4.4 million in support of child health care in Manitoba and received numerous awards including the Mayor's Volunteer Service Award and a Teddy Award.

Thursday, August 13, is the 7th Annual Miracle Treat Day at all Dairy Queen locations in Canada. On this special day, proceeds from every Blizzard sold will benefit Children’s Miracle Network affiliated hospitals and foundations. Funds raised locally support the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba.
Join us at any... DQ location where you might have the chance to meet a child who has been helped by Winnipeg Children’s Hospital while you pick up your favourite blizzard treat.
Funds raised on Miracle Treat Day support the over two million Canadian children who are treated annually at Children’s Hospitals in Canada. Your help can make this year’s Miracle Treat Day even more successful than the last.
All monies raised on DQ Miracle Treat Day fund life-enhancing programs, specialized equipment and pediatric research, improving the quality of life for the over 130,000 children cared for at Winnipeg’s Children’s hospital each year.
