I like this bill, but Chris; both it and the healthcare reform acts are going over to that Den of Thieves in the Senate, where they are being thoroughly gutted and thoroughly corrupted with the connivance of "so called" moderates, and people with no more backbone than a worm.

Lieberman! Reid! etcetera. We should be taking names. All that work you'... See Moreve done is going to go down the tubes, the fix is in. Is there anything you can do?

Cowards die a thousand deaths. They wouldn't even be punished for doing the right thing? What excuse do they have?

Armey probably didnt even read it...The sad things is, this man is "supposed" to represent Texas, my home state where I grew up....Unfortunately, he doesnt get it at all...He DOES need to know HOW that dead cat got that way instead of reacting to the problem and shrugging so he can learn to PREVENT problems from happening again in the future.....Supidity and ignorance...

Thank you for your stance. This is very important. Americans including myself have been affected by companies not offering health insurance even when fulfilling full time hours. This is an important bill and as you stated a bill that will move America forward. It's time to change ways to prepare for the current society we serve.

Amazing that those who attend those "tea parties" because they are angry about high taxes never say a WORD about health insurance companies jacking up their premiums every year while they get less care and fewer choices, robbing thrm blind in the name of profits for themselves...I guess for them corporate welfare is "good waste" since its a business...Wasted money is all the same to the pocketbook, whether its an inept govt program or inept health insurance company robbing you blind..

I am worried that a bill will pass that will be a political disaster for the Democrats. As things now look, there will be an individual mandate that everyone buy (high priced) health insurance; nothing will be done to rein in insurance premiums or health care spending; and there won't be a public option, but the insurance companies and PhRMA will ... See Morereap massive new profits. We already spend more than twice as much on health care per capita as any other developed country for equal or worse health outcomes. I'm afraid that costs will continue to rise and 30-50 million more Americans will be forced to pay many thousands of dollars a year to the insurance robber-barons. And, of course, the Democrats will get the blame. I hope I'm wrong.

Yes!! The insurance companies have abused this privilege so badly in order to maximize profits. How about a cap on profits -say 5%-- with excess going to adequate coverage for beneficiaries?
