Church World Service The families of Kadokoi, Kenya, have a new safe source of water. “We are happy now & celebrating because we have been given a new beginning!" says Rebecca. "Now, the people in our community are much healthier. My children have more water to take with them to school, too."
CWS is working with partner Farming Systems Kenya to make Kadokoi, Kenya, more water-secure. The community now has access to water for the first time. A borehole, equipped with a solar panel, two water tanks & a water point made it all possible.

CWS is assisting 13 farmer cooperatives serving more than 3,000 members, bringing access to funds for seeds (produced in Haiti), tools & fertilizers; access to small credit; training & tech assistance including adult literacy; & emotional support.
