"A One-of-a-Kind Trail" - The Manitou Incline *PART1*

SEE PART 2 HERE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKMB9LpeJH4 This is a documentary film I made in the fall of 2008 for a film class at Colorado College. The film covers all aspects of the Manitou Incline, including, what it is, the history behind it, how it is used today, and the land issues currently plaguing the area. The Incline is a set of old railway ties that ascends mount Manitou about 2,000 vertical feet in about 1 mile.

The SOCC -The Sound of Colorado College

This was a short micro-documentary on Colorado College's student radio station, The SOCC, HD3 channel of 91.5 FM KRCC. B-Roll was filmed on 16mm with a wind-up Bolex camera. The interview was short on a 70's aeorflex camera. Music by Beck -Where It's At. Some is a bit out of focus because it was the first time any of us had shot on film.

A Pleasant Valley Shave

A short little documentary I made for a film class summer 2009. The Pleasant Valley Barber shop is a great place for a haircut or a shave if you ever find yourself in Colorado Springs. If you liked this, check out "Ocarina Man and the Sheep's Toenails."
