ColoradoGuy.com Last weekend it was #Yankees Mountain, and this weekend it is *ARKANSAS!* That's right - I got the heck out of Colorado: To see friends. Do some hiking. And I have Razorbacks tickets... Wooooooooo Pig Sooouuie! You've been warned! Arkansas pages coming soon hopefully. (Photo taken two hours ago.) :-)

Jamie Steve will arrive in ARKANSAS today! Looking forward to meeting my friend.

ColoradoGuy.com Photo taken Wednesday night (October 28, 2009) in Buena Vista, CO. I have numerous snow photos from last week that I haven't edited yet, but I thought I'd show off this semi-creative one.

My habit of hiking obscure mountains in Chaffee County and my zeal for the New York Yankees crashed together on Saturday morning. The Yankees, who are battling the Philadelphia Phillies in the World Series, need some good Rocky Mountain vibes. ...

We received a good amount of snowfall throughout Colorado this week. This Friday evening, it appeared the snow had finished falling. If you have been following me on Twitter, you've probably already seen some of my tweeted photos ... ...

Hi ColoradoGuy. I found photos you took of NJ in 2007. I'm sorry to say that something is killing all the trees in this state, we are experiencing an abrupt and dramatic decline which I attribute to toxic emissions creating ozone and perhaps those of ethanol. I've been blogging about this at www.witsendnj.blogspot.c...om. Please take a visit because I would like your permission to do a side-by-side comparison of the condition of the trees in 2007 that you posted, and how they look now. you can email me at witsendnj@yahoo.com. I would really appreciate it. Also, if you have other photos from the same time at particular locations you would share, I would go to photograph them as well. Thank you!!! October 27, 2009 - I walked outside early in the morning and saw those large pink streaks across the sky. I immediately grabbed my camera and had a sense this could be a great Colorado sunrise!

Yes, I am on FB--glad to see you here. Once apon a time there was a double murder
in Granite--and the case is still cold today--How do I know? I lived there then---and knew the investigating officer. Now that event is the bare bones of my book---except I have fictionalized all the details. Kate

Bruce Johnson I'm running all the way across Route 82, I noticed you biked across it and what you can tell me about shoulder and conditions all the way across Route 82? thanks for your help. I leave Jan 15 on my second run across America.

I wanted to make one final visit to Cottonwood Pass to watch and photograph the sunset before it closed for the season. Late May is a long time from now (seven months to be exact) and something inside me needed a high altitude Rocky Mountain "fix."

It is safe to say Limestone Ridge is not a high priority on many people's hiking list. This little visited mountain ridge a few miles east of Buena Vista at most, might be recognized by drivers on Highway 285 & 24 between Trout Creek Pass and Johnson Village.

Christy Wise Martin THANK YOU for being my "eyes" on the Collegiate Peaks ... keep those photos comin'!

Bernard Doyle Hey Steve I joined Twitter and am following your feed now!

This evening's sunset colors were very beautiful in practically every direction. Above Mt. Princeton was a touch of color as seen in the photo above.
