Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham Join us Nov. 3, 5:30-7:30 p.m., at Birmingham Public Library downtown (Arrington Auditorium) for an update on the Yes We Can! Birmingham grassroots initiative to support Birmingham City Schools. Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham Alabama Symphony Orchestra concert for pre-K through grade 2 provided a great start to Savvy Supporter lunch on Sept. 23, 2009. Great to see one of our Community Fund grants in action.

Wednesday, September 23, was the first day for a series of Explorer Concerts by the Alabama Symphony Orchestra and an extra-special day for the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham, which provided a grant to support these education programs for kids from Pre-K through Grade 2.
