conceptbakery Facebook wins case against a spam king and gets awared $711 million. Spamming isn't nice. But I am wondering of the verdict was sponsored by an American company running a few stores across the nation selling slurpees and other goodies?
Anyway: Spamming in any form isn't necessary - we can all do better...

A man impersonating the Kentucky Fried Chicken founder Colonel Sanders managed to dupe his way into the UN headquarters in New York and shake hands with a senior official.

You do not need to dupe your way into UN HQ. You apply for a tour, go through the security tent and then you are in the public area. Meeting a high ranking official is another matter.

We are rather trying to encourage others to take the same approach we do: More relevant info & less self promotion. conceptbakery Nice idea: "The winning three-person team will begin their journey on January 1, 2010 and attempt to travel more than 150,000 miles in 365 days, visiting each of the 206 countries where Coca-Cola is sold." I think that will definetly be an amazing trip that changes the winners life! And... Of course the activities will be covered on various social media sites (Twitter, Youtube, Blog, etc.).

conceptbakery Why Google and Apple are successful and you are not - It's all about usability ;) Check out these simple manuals… Is this the key?!

Source: www.scottmonty.com
Common sense dictates that the easier something is to accomplish, the more readily it will be passed along. What information do you ask your customers to submit? And of that, which is really necessary? Less is more.

@Michael: I think it depends a little bit on about which Google product we are talking;) But in terms of search I think it's pretty much true. Google maps... GMail... Pretty much the same... Even Google wave... Perhaps pretty simple... At least after we got a little bit more familiar with it;) But of course... Usally I "love" Apple products more than Google as well;)

conceptbakery The most important thing about the homepage redesign of Facebook is that the newsfeed will have some new features (like top stories filter). Also some old features (lost in the last update / we were really missing) will be back again (especially interesting for advertisers and fan pages). So we are really looking forward to this update! How about you?

conceptbakery Interesting... "A study revealed that 80% of the people use Twitter for Business. But who are the cream of the crop?" What I also like about this article is that success is not only defined by the numbers of followers but by the number of interactions and engagement of these followers.
