It is an idea, theory, of a set of facts. Don't feel the need to fight science. If a blind man is given an elephant's trunk, and another blind man is given the tail, they would each come to certain facts about the elephant, that doesn't mean that either of them would come to a correct theory about what the elephant really is.

We do appreciate your comments AND that everyone has been cordial. However, we don't think anyone is going to be swayed on either side of the "evolution" fence. Please, keep further comments on the topic of the actual blog or the upcoming Lyceum lecture (this Sunday).

Janelle - This program takes place outside in all kinds of weather, and participants walk approximately one mile on rough terrain. The emotional effect of the program is intense, as participants are treated as slaves, being told to keep their eyes down and not to speak unless spoken to. Because of the nature of the experience, participants must be 12 years or older.

Watch Smiley's Pumkpin Drop 2008- then come out tomorrow morning for the 2009 Pumpkin Drop!

We'll drop two GIANT pumpkins from a couple hundred feet up- one at 7:45-8am-ish, another 9-ish. One of the pumpkins weighs 1100 pounds!

It'll be in our parking lot right off Allisonville Rd., so it's free for everyone to come and... watch. The Apple Store will have sweet treats and hot drinks for sale, so bring the kids or stop by on your way to work!Read More
