The snow has finally melted from the festival site and all is go for the 2010 Cool Summer Festival which will be held on the grassy slopes of the Big D and the General Store at Mt Hotham Victoria Australia. Tickets go on sale Monday November 23...

COOL SUMMER FESTIVAL STARTS TODAY
The Cool Summer Festival is still going ahead this weekend, despite the recent fire activity throughout Victoria this month. There have been some concerns regarding the fact that the state is under a high fire alert today, however there are no fire threats around Mt Hotham and Dinner Pl...ain, or even anywhere nearby. The Great Alpine Rd is fully open from Wangaratta to Bairnsdale. The festival committee has a full fire plan in conjunction with the local CFA that can be launched immediately should any fire threat occur over the weekend. Temperatures are forecast to be cool and calm over the weekend. All artists are still playing and the festival in its entirety will go ahead as planned.
We hope to see you all up here, please come and support this community festival so it can keep running in years to come!
