After Ken Clarke's comments on wind farms, I've decided to write personally to David Cameron, asking him to overrule Ken Clarke and make their policy clear. I'm going to deliver the letter tomorrow morning but need your support if it's to have impact.

Good news on the Copenhagen front - climate change talks are coming to London. The UK is to host the next meeting of the Major Economies Forum, where the 17 countries with the highest rate of greenhouse gas emissions will meet to make more progress towards a climate deal.

Given as a Canadian, I believe Canada is like the Moldives, in that we are also on the front lines of Global Warming. Kind of canarys in the coal mine given our northern border. Canadians need our Govmnt to step up & initiate Environmental laws with long term protections for it's citizens.

This is undoubtedly THE critical issue of our time - we all need to do whatever we can to positively influence the ultimate outcome - act locally & think globally.

I come across many original & practical ideas as to what we can do to individually influence how this is all going to turn out, so there is a large store of innovation out there. I am an optimist so see 'the green shoots' of positive environmentalism taking hold widely but we must support and activate our policy makers to implement change.

There is a keyhole in history through we must force a very large elephant, the one in the room that is rapidly becoming visable, in my opinion. I have adopted the habit of talking to all the people I can about the subject, and now I get a sympathetic hearing, or at the very least toleration, whereas a few years ago I did not. So people generally are ready, so please use your best efforts to spread the word, and by all means do your bit.... See More

We have a committed Climate Change Spokesman in Mr. Milliband, and he deserves your support.

Please can we have a UK wide report to find the most sustainable and less damaging places for windfarms. Let us not forget that we should be doing more to manage our demand for energy. Less destruction of the environment. A carbon tax please
