Coralville Public Library There's still time to get books, cds, dvds at the library Booksale! The booksale neds tonight at 5:30, but don't fear, they are also here tomorrow from 9am-3pm. Tomorrow's added bonus will be the Teen Adivsory Board bakesale, so feel free to browse through the books and pick up a treat! All proceeds go directly to helping fund library services and programming.
Coralville Public Library Friends of the Library BOOKSALE from 1:30pm-5:30pm TODAY and 9:00am until 3:00pm SATURDAY. Come early for the best selection, but if you come Saturday prices are discounted. All proceeds go back to supporting the library. Also on Saturday the CPL Teen Advisory Board will be selling baked goods. Proceeds from the bake sale go directly toward supporting Young Adult programming at the library!

Coralville Public Library God of Carnage is the winner of the 2009 Tony for Best Play. It examines how, in trying to resolve a playground fight between their children, a discussion between a pair of parents devolves into chaos. Come find out why this has been called a "comedy of manners...without manners."

All interested readers are invited to discuss The Rope Walk by Carrie Brown at noon on Wednesday, November 4th, at the Coralville Library. Bring a lunch if you like, though dessert will be provided.
The Rope Walk was selected for the 2009 All Iowa Reads program. Called ”highly recommended” by Library Journal in 2007, ...the reviewer wrote, “Brown’s requisite word paintings of the details of childhood are tone-perfect and utterly irresistible.”

Red-Hot bargains at the Friends Summer Book Sale on November 13-14 at the Coralville Public Library, 1401 5th Street, Coralville, IA where there is plenty of FREE PARKING. Sale hours are 1:30-5:30 P.M. on Friday and 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Saturday.
Friday prices are $2.00 per hard cover book, $1.00 for paperback...s and $1.00 for all music CD’s and movies. Saturday prices are discounted half price. Children’s books are priced the same both days at $.25 - $2.00.
Shoppers will find a large selection of cookbooks, travel books, self help, diet & fitness, parenting, crafts, foreign language books and novels, many children’s books and chapter books for upper elementary school aged kids as well as hundreds of mysteries and general fiction novels.
Friends of the Coralville Public Library is a non-profit organization that provides volunteer and financial support to the Coralville Library. Proceeds from the book sale will be used to support the library.
