I just hope traditional journalism training doesn't fall by the wayside. You learn a lot from sitting in a newsroom and overhearing your peers. I'm very concerned about what I see these days - sites recruiting freelancers for content that drums up SEO - with ads like "get experience in journalism!"
I went to a J school that drummed ethics into our heads. There's still enough of the old guard around who can transition to new media (I think) - but what about the future?
