For April the Blender will be at Karsh's Grill, one of the best kept secrets in town. . . that is until now! Karsh's specializes in smoked meats (the duck breast, tri-tip and filet mignon are my fav's!), has a great selection of beer and wine and we can't forget the very tasty parm and cracked pepper chips. Delicious!
C...onnect with artists, entrepreneurs and other creative professionals over a good drink and complimentary appetizers. Great conversations and great fun! Join us won't you?
The Blenders, which take place on the first Friday of the month, are Creative Fresno's social mixers of professionals, artists and entrepreneurs whose exchange of ideas are an effort to revitalize the urban life and landscape of the Fresno region.Read More

Hello Fresno we are back and we're starting off 2009 with a doubles challenge!
For the first Challenge of 2009 we're putting four of Fresno's heaviest hitters behind the bar. Tim Stearns and Al Smith will be throwing cocktails against Andreas Borgeas and Craig Scharton.
Some are calling this a Challenge of "Inspirational... leaders versus Geezers" while others think this is a contest between "Innovators and Bureaucrats". Either way these men are serious about their cocktails... and winning. This means they will be doing anything to earn your vote.
How do you vote for the winning team? With your Tips that's how! The team with the most tips (cash or checks made payable to Creative Fresno) at the end of the evening wins.
All proceeds from the evening go to Creative Fresno's mural fund so you're having fun for a good cause! But wait it gets better! Creative Fresno is a 501c3 non-profit so all your donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Bartender Challenge is Creative Fresno's funding vehicle allowing us to bring together the resources necessary to create artistic murals in downtown Fresno and the community at large.Read More

Theme: "Is it really change?"
Pecha Kucha, Japanese for the sound of conversation, has tapped into a creative work forum that can be easily and informally shown. Pecha Kucha Night has spread across the world to more than 170 cities.
Pecha Kucha Night was conceived in Tokyo in 2003 as an event for designers to meet, netw...ork and show their work. The key to Pecha Kucha Night is its patented system for avoiding long winded designers. Each presenter is allowed 20 images, each shown for 20 seconds — giving 6 minutes, 40 seconds of fame before the next presenter is up. This keeps presentations concise, the interest level up and gives more people the chance to show.
Come on out an enjoy a night of design stimulation.
