Creation Science Evangelism
What’s going on at your civic center, tonight? Don’t know? You might be surprised. Every year, millions of hours of evolutionary propaganda are pumped into communities all over America. The Discovery Channel, National Geographic, and Nova are just a few of the groups assaulting the truths of creation and the Bible. Som...e of the brightest minds, the most prolific writers, and the biggest budgets are involved in weaving tales of deception—deception that reigns free on television, in movies, at civic centers, and yes, even in your very own town. So here’s the question. What are you going to do about it?

The BBC special, Walking With Dinosaurs, came to Pensacola with their massive and lifelike animatronic dinosaurs presentation. But Walking With Dinosaurs is really more like Running With Evolutionism. So keep an eye peeled for the upcoming CCS, when Eric and Joshua tackle this runaway tale.

Gareth,

Intelligent people ALWAYS question. Hence, earliest science believed and taught the world was flat ... someone questioned it. Sadly the church bought it even though 'the universe was hung on nothing' (Job). Early medicine believed in the 'humors' ... leaches were used to 'bleed' people back to health. Somewhere along the way a question was raised. This sort of science killed George Washington...so our history tells us. I have never belived just anything without investigating it myself. Whenever 'questions' are forbidden or mocked, that is the first step back to the stone age. When something is accepted without question, we rehearse a modern Inquisition.

Consider the following statement: "Ingesting 3 pounds of asprin will do one no harm." Whether this is true or not is immaterial to the fact that it is a 'medical statement'. One's denial of law does not make one an attorney, nor does it remove one from the authority of the law. I can believe or deny, but neither makes it so. There are many opinions out there, being shouted by people who are not qualified to state such opinions. You are wise in sifting through the tons of rhetoric. ... Read More

Be on your guard, however, that the rehtoric doesn't callose you to some really interesting reading. Note the following little nuggets I found on my own. I didn't learn this in church. You will learn very little in church.

Genesis 1 follows the laws of particle physics with frightening precision...considering it is in literary form (The Big Bang in slow motion if you will). What is also interesting, Second Peter chapter 3 uses two words translated 'destroy'. One is used in the first verses and second (starting verse 10 ... I think) is used thereafter. What makes this so interesting is at the second word (LUO) describes the elements being UNTIED or LOOSENED...more accurately... FREED. The 'elements' will melt with intense heat...creation will disappear with a roar. (bad paraphrase) The point is that the correct word is used and corresponds with the appropriate behavior if the elements were suddenly untied. Peter in essence describes atomic fission. The first word used in the preceeding verses is not this type of destruction. It is a word used to describe something 'swept' away. A building is 'swept' away (destroyed - APOLUOMI) by flood waters, but the building material still exists. The Bible is NOT a science text book, yet it is consistant with some of the most intriguing aspects of science to date. Examine the oldest manuscripts (before Trinity and Oppenheimer) and you will find that the words I have indicated are there, answering any objection to 'tampering'.

I am compelled to at least admit that whoever put the Bible together...had some insider information or he was very intelligent.

Creation Science Evangelism We just watched God provide in an amazing way. $380,000 in just three weeks! It will take some time to get all the appraisals done, inspections passed, surveys completed and closings accomplished, but God has used all of you to make this possible! Thank You! I wonder what kind of huge project we could accomplish with the next $100 drive! God will take us there in His time! Thank you again, Eric
