Currituck Outer Banks Plan ahead to attend the 2010 Currituck Home Flower and Garden Show. The 2010 theme is “Incredible Edibles”. The two-day event, the only garden show in northeast North Carolina, is sponsored by the Currituck Master Gardeners and the NC Cooperative Extension Service, Currituck County Center. It will be held Friday and S...aturday, April 23th and April 24th, at the NC Cooperative Extension facility on Route 158 in Barco. Show hours are 1pm to 6pm on Friday and 9am to 4pm on Saturday. There will be a variety of vendors, garden exhibits, children’s activities and more. Come learn how to grow edible foods for your family in any garden situation. For more information on the show or if you would like to be a vendor, call the NC Cooperative Extension Service, Currituck County Center at 252-232-2262.
