Da Camera of Houston and The Menil Collection present a free Stop, Look and Listen! event featuring the Da Camera Young Artists Free parking in the lot on West Alabama between Mandell and Mulberry.
Da Camera’s Young Artists Program perform 15-minute “thumbnail” concerts at various locations throughout The Menil Collecti...on campus, shepherding visitors to perhaps undiscovered corners. Each artist performs his or her concert, which is tied thematically to the artworks in that particular venue, continuously from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with performances occurring simultaneously at The Menil Collection, The Cy Twombly Gallery and the Byzantine Fresco Chapel Museum. Works of Corelli, Piazzolla, Steve Reich, John Cage and Stephen Hartke. The recommended age for this event is 6 and up.
