I am thankful for healthy children and husband. I am also thankful for a Savior who loves me no matter what! And friends who listen and make me laugh.

If we are obedient with the money we can also be in Gods will. Through that obedience would we not also "store up treasures in heaven where rust and moths do not destroy?"

In God's will as far as the obedience concerning money, yes. Seems that storing up treasure is strongly linked to doing things with the motives and actions of trusting God and following God's plan rather than our own. Curiously, money often comes to the forefront in it all doesn't it.

Dad Cents When was the last time you had this thought, "If I only had a lot of money I would not have these problems!" Consider this. "Those who long to be rich, however, stumble into temptation and a trap and many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction." 1 Tim. 6:9

The fact is that money can certainly help with some problems, but when you get very sick or face the death of a loved on--- it is not one of the things that is foremost in your thinking.

Natch. Unless you see it as 100% belonging to God and His to direct, the problems can be biggies.

Dad Cents Whether financial or not, what inappropriate action have you seen in your child, you discipline them, and then realize they were copying you?

Uf your a good parent, you see alot of your mistakes in your kids. The things that drive you the most insane is what you don't like about yourself. Works with co workers, friends etc

hmmm...that I let finances control my anxiety level, rather than acknowledging that God has full ownership of it all anyway. After all, it is up to him how things ultimately turn out.
