Daily Guidance The Prophet [SAWS] said, "You will surely follow the ways, steps, or traditions of those who came before you, span by span and yard by yard (very closely) even if they entered a lizard's hole you will enter it." The companions asked, "Oh prophet, you mean the Jews and Christians?" so he answered, "Who else!" [Reported by Imam Bukhari]

He [SAWS] said: "It is Ar-Riyaa (showing off good deeds to get compliments from people). Allah will say on the Day of Judgement to the people who committed minor shirk when people are being re-payed for their deeds..."

third of the Qur'an in a night?" The companions said, "And how can we
recite a third of the Qur'an?!" The Prophet [SAWS] said, "Qul Huwa
Allahu ...Ahad (Surah Number 112 of the Qur'an) is equal to a third of the Qur'an." [Reported by Muslim]

Daily Guidance Al-Abbas [RA] narrates: I said, "Oh Messenger of Allah [SAWS]! Teach me a thing that I can ask Allah for." He [SAWS] replied, "Ask Allah for Al-Aafiyyah." So I waited for a day then went to him [SAWS] and said, "Oh Messenger of Allah [SAWS]! Teach me a thing that I can ask Allah for."
