Love watching Dr. Merritt. No matter which state we live in we always find him on TV. He always teaches us something and I can't look at a sweater vest without thinking of him :-)

It is sad to say that one would have to read on facebook that Sunday was the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Things like that are no longer in the media. I pray that our nation would return to its first love - Jesus Christ. If it would everything else would fall into place including the economy. His Word tells His people to repent and pray and our nation will be healed.

David Shafer supports Representative Tony Sellier. He does a great job representing Middle Georgia in the Georgia General Assembly.

Tony began his corporate career in 1970 with Burlington Industries, an international textile company headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina. His responsibilities as an internal auditor took him to Colombia, South America, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. A position with Blue Bird Corporation brought Tony to Fort Valley, ...Georgia in 1975. For nearly twenty years, Tony held several positions within Blue Bird including manager of audit and special projects and an assignment as general manager of Blue Bird Centroamericano S.A., Blue Bird's assembly plant in Guatemala. In 1997 Tony began a new position as vice president/general manager for Transportation Seating Incorporated (TSI) in Montezuma but eventually returned to Blue Bird in 1999 as corporate director of financial services. His first act as a state legislator was to stand up for his own convictions and against political pressure from leadership to reverse a commitment he had made and vote their way. Keep standing for principle, Rep. Sellier! Especially in life issues. Thanks for all you have done and for your integrity!

Of all the people who can afford to have their pay cut, it's not teachers, they are the most under-paid highly educated people in our society, but everytime a state needs to make cuts, where do they go, Education. We are the only country in the world who treat our teachers like second rate citizens. what would we do without education, There is not a parent out there who doesn't scarifice for their children, make sure you put their education somewhere at the top of your list.
